WELCOME!

We are so glad that you will be joining us for our Workcamp here in lovely New Hampshire. Are you excited yet? We are! We are already hard at work getting ready for your arrival. We are looking forward to seeing what God is going to do in this community as we all come together this Summer to show the love of Jesus in practical ways. This will be Trinity's third time as a Workcamp co-sponsor, and we ask that you would pray along with us that this will be our best Workcamp yet!

Our church is located in the small town of Sutton, but the Workcamp will be reaching out to the surrounding small towns in our region as well. This region is united by the same school system, the Kearsarge Regional School District, which is named after the tallest mountain in the area, Mt. Kearsarge. The other prominent feature of our area is Lake Sunapee, which lies to the west at the foot of Mt. Sunapee. In case you are wondering, this Workcamp is known locally as the Kearsarge Workcamp, though you may have heard the slogan "Sunrise at Sunapee" – either way, know that we are talking about the same thing!

Please feel free to look around our website to get to know us and our community a little bit better. To get an idea of what Workcamp will be like, you may want to check out what happened during our 2006 Workcamp.

To catch a glimpse of where you will be staying, you can also check out the new Kearsarge Regional Middle School. In case you are wondering, our co-sponsor for the Workcamp is a great organization called Casey Family Services which provides quality foster care services. For more information on some of the towns in our area, check out the town sites for Andover, Bradford, Newbury, New London, Springfield, Sunapee, Sutton, Warner, and Wilmot.

Be sure to check back again as we plan to post updated details on this page along the way, such as things to do and places to go during the Wednesday afternoon free time, details about a cookout that we'll be providing for you, and other good stuff that you won't want to miss.

We've already begun to pray for you, and we would love to know if there are any specific prayer requests our planning team can pray about for you. If so, please send them to us

here. (with anti-spam)
We look forward to meeting you this summer! (As always, if you have any questions about the camp itself, please direct those to the folks at Group Workcamps.)

Update - 5/19/2009

The Workcamp is quickly approaching! When you arrive here we will provide you with all of the information that you need to know in order to have a great Workcamp experience. In the meantime, here are a few links with some ideas of what you might want to do during your free time on Wednesday afternoon:

We are continuing to pray for you as you make your final preparations. We ask that you would pray for all aspects of the Workcamp as well, especially that God would be glorified as we meet practical needs in His name. See you soon!
