Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matthew 28:18-20)

By this is My Father glorified, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples. (John 15:8)

VISION

Trinity Bible Church exists for the purpose of glorifying God by
developing growing disciples of Jesus Christ throughout the earth.
This involves...
  1. Winning men and women in the Sunapee-Kearsarge region to Jesus Christ by personally demonstrating the truth and relevance of the gospel message [see #1 below]
  2. Facilitating the smooth transition of new believers into the supportive relationships of the church family [see #2 below]
  3. Offering regular opportunities for meaningful corporate worship [see #3 below]
  4. Providing a supportive environment for spiritual growth, centering on God's word
  5. Equipping believers to deal with life biblically and to participate in ministry in accordance with their spiritual gifts
  6. Actively sending and supporting some to carry out the mission of the church beyond cultural and geographical boundaries. [see #4 below]

[#1]
While some in the church family live as far away as Franklin and Hillsborough, our primary area of influence encompasses the towns in and around the Kearsarge Regional School District.

We believe the good news of God's love and grace is best communicated in the context of personal relationships. We therefore encourage all who have been transformed by God's grace to consistently live out their faith on a day-to-day basis, to love the people God has placed around them (home, community, work, school), and to be prepared to explain Christ's message of salvation whenever there is interest and opportunity.

[#2]
"As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." (Proverbs 27:17)  One of the principal ways God designed us to grow is through the "one another" ministries (encourage one another, build up one another, teach one another, love one another, etc.). To foster such an environment, we offer a number of small group opportunities each week where anywhere from a half dozen to 15 people can get to know each other as they study the Bible together and pray for one another's needs.

[#3]
Worship can be defined as responding to all that God is with all that we are. Because God is bigger than what any one style or expression of worship can adequately communicate, and because the examples of worship in Scripture contain considerable variety, we intentionally take a varied or "blended" approach in our Sunday morning worship together. A typical service will include traditional hymns alongside contemporary songs of praise. Music may range from energetic to contemplative. Accompaniment will vary from organ and piano to electric guitar and drums, accented with strains from a flute or trumpet or violin. Our goal is to provide opportunity for all of us together to actively "engage" in meeting with God and recognizing His glory.

[#4]
Because our overall purpose is to "develop growing disciples of Jesus Christ throughout the earth", our missions program is critical to accomplishing the global aspect of that purpose. We regularly sponsor short-term missions trips to keep the broad scope of our purpose in focus and to provide church members with an opportunity for personal involvement. We also actively support a number of missionaries in order to extend our ministry to areas where most of us can't personally go.
