WHAT   TO   BRING

Bible & Notebook — to actively engage with Ray's talks on being "Children in Our Father's Eyes", not to mention times on your own in fellowship with God.

Teachable Spirit, Servant's Heart, Child-like Faith — 'nuff said. ☺

Linens — The beds are outfitted with only blankets or bedspreads and pillows, so bring sheets (or sleeping bags) and pillowcases for each member of your family. A few rooms have queens or doubles, but most have a combination of twin beds for parents and metal bunks for children.  (We'll try to e-mail those assigned to queen or double beds once room assignments are made next week; otherwise plan on twins. Rental linens available in a pinch.)

Towels and Toiletries — In most cases, two rooms will share one bathroom, with access through a shared 3-door entry area.  (I.e., you don't have to walk down the hall in your bathrobe.)

Health Needs — any medicine and special dietary provisions you and your family may need.   Meals will be served, and coffee, tea, and hot chocolate will be available throughout the weekend, with a snack of fruits and homemade cookies on Saturday afternoon. Our children's program will also offer "kid snacks" during their gatherings.

Props for Variety Show — Don't forget those bowling balls you're planning to juggle, or the kazoo or costume or whatever else you may need.  (You can still enter your act in the show as late as Saturday afternoon, so plan to pull something together at the retreat if you haven't done so yet!)

Special Needs for Younger Families — baby monitors, toys, games, snacks, supplements for meals, etc.

EMERGENCY   CONTACT   INFORMATION

Cell phone coverage at Singing Hills is spotty. Most users can find reception somewhere on the grounds to make calls, but shouldn't rely on cells for receiving any expected calls. In an emergency, someone can get a message to you by calling Singing Hills at 469-3236, a phone that will be monitored by staff the whole time we're there.
