Warm greetings from Guam:
TWR's ministry in this vast region continues to have growing pains. I marvel at the opportunities that continue to come up, and the way in which many of our national directors continue to seek the Lord in pursuing these opportunities.
Prayer Requests:
- Praise – a short term work has come out for 4 months. Sterling is a 23 year old from Nebraska and has already been a real blessing with being here only a week. He has plenty of energy and enthusiasm
- Praise – Four new languages go on this new season: Uighur, Tibetan, Hahn Mongolian, and Russian. (I am looking at adding two new languages next season!.)
- Pray we can finalize our furlough plans. We have a very busy schedule. I also need to be in Europe for the coordination meetings.
- Pray for a vehicle we will need for the furlough.
- Pray for more missionaries. This is a prayer for most missions organizations. We are feeling the crunch here. We are urgently seeking four full time staff and will also plan on work teams when we can start on the antenna project (I will share this during our furlough.)
- Pray the Lord will provide the right person(s) to house sit for us while we are on furlough. They need to be good with pets :-)
- Pray for wisdom in programming placement as we continue to add languages and programs. It is more difficult to find open frequencies and times as I look at more broadcasters into our region and also the solar propagation issues.
- Of course we also request prayer for Lindsey regarding her health, and for Crystal and D'Arcy as they will be leaving for California on April 2.
We look forward to being with you soon.
Rejoicing in Him,
George (for Kathy)
