Warm greetings from Guam:
This is great news!! [Doug wrote about the interest in a 2006 trip] I am so glad to hear the M&M went good. After the first of the year we should be in a better position to getting this 'field' ready for short term teams.
It is amazing how things are already working. We had the first short termer (from our furlough) out here in November. He was a computer network specialist. Our own IS/IT director and he worked between 10-12 hours a day and have been able to move our entire region ahead.
We have more work ready than we have short termers to cover. We are quite busy, but at the same time very encouraged from listener response. We have news of the Lord doing quite a work with the house 'radio' churches, and at the same time the persecution in the closed countries here seems to really be on the rise.
I will get to you as soon as we have the project identified (so to speak.) There is more than enough to do, it is just getting all the necessary things taken care of to having people come in. 2006 should work out great. God Bless.
