But Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” (Luke 18:16-17)
Here you'll find information about our children's activities during our Sunday morning worship service. Also check out our Sunday School classes for children (at 9:30 Sunday mornings). If you have any additional questions regarding our Children's Ministry, please feel free to contact Mark Anderson, our Associate Pastor.
Infants up through 4th birthday
Children under four are taught and cared for during the Sunday worship service by a team of adults and youth helpers. Older toddlers enjoy a snack, simple Bible story and coloring time followed by carefully monitored free-play time.
Ages 4 through grade 2
Children enjoy an age appropriate experience incorporating crafts, coloring, puppets, songs, and games during the second half of the worship service. Children's church instruction focuses on understanding God's love and beginning a lifelong friendship with Him.
Grade 3 and up
We offer a unique program for kids transitioning from children's church into the worship service. Kids are given a personalized journal for note taking then meet afterwards in the auditorium with Transition Kids volunteers to review what they learned from the sermon. Kids earn points and prizes along the way.
The safety of your children is very important to us. All of the volunteers in our children's ministries undergo a national background check and are vetted carefully.
