Romania Team Begins Training

Fifteen members of the Trinity church family who plan to travel to Romania this summer for a 10-day missions project (read about it here and here) gathered for the first time on March 15 to begin their preparation.  After two hours of team building, Bible study, and discussions about perspective and logistics, we enjoyed an authentic Romanian meal of soup, sarmale (stuffed cabbage), and mamaliga (cornmeal porridge, more or less).  (Thank you, Leigh!)  Six more training sessions have been scheduled from April until the team's July 18 departure, and team members will be busy with various assignments between sessions.

The group needs to raise around $19,000 between now and June 15 to cover their traveling and ministry expenses.  Donations can be made to Trinity Bible Church, with "Romania" in the memo.
