Site Planning Blitz: Workcamp

In preparation for the Kearsarge Workcamp we're cosponsoring this summer, we're organizing a Saturday morning of site visits on Saturday, March 10 (rescheduled from March 3) to get the details of the requested home repairs figured out.  After gathering at the church to get organized (coffee and light breakfast snacks will be available at 8:00), we'll team up and head out to visit as many resident applicants as we can before lunch.  Most of those will be our second visit to the home, and the twofold focus will be (a) visiting with the resident and going over a few particulars of the program, and (b) coming up with actual measurements and writing detailed notes so that we can order materials and create an action for the crew of Workcampers this summer.

Each team will be led by one of our trained "site developers" who are experienced in home repairs and familiar with what information we'll need to gather.  Ideally we'll team each of these "experts" with others who can confirm the driving directions, visit with the resident, hold the other end of the tape measure, and otherwise engage in the process.

At the end of the morning, we'll return to the church, where lunch will be waiting for everyone who's able to stay.  Please sign up if you're able to participate in this one-morning blitz (you'll need to log in to the church family section), and indicate there whether you can stay for lunch (we hope you will!).  Please contact Jay D'Angona if you have any questions.
