Dear Trinity family,
Back in Texas, I used to dread the month of August. I was about to write, "like the plague," but that's why I dreaded it. The heat was like a plague. It was just something to endure. 31 days. Put your head down. move from your air-conditioned house to your air-conditioned car to your air-conditioned place of work. School even starts next week down there because what's the point of being on vacation when it's too hot to do anything other than fry an egg on the sidewalk. Just remember when it hits 85 this week that it's 100 degrees somewhere and that somewhere isn't here.
All this means that we can look forward to what's happening in August and September. The lakes are warmed up (sort of) and Fall is on the horizon (even though we still have three weeks of summer left).
With this in mind, I want to keep in front of you what's coming this month and next as the school and ministry year get underway:
If you are interested in being baptized on Sunday morning, September 6th, please let me know and we will schedule a time to discuss.
Lastly, the following Children's Ministry needs are still a need:

- Membership class continues this Sunday @ 9:00AM in the back right classroom. You are welcome to join even if you were unable to attend the first session.
- Tuesday, August 18th @ 6:30PM - TBC Women Kezar Lake Sunset Stroll
- Sunday, August 30th @ 4:00PM - Pray for Our Schools (meet in the church parking lot)
- Thursday, September 3rd @ 9:00-11:00AM - TBC Women Bagels & Brave Moms (sign up on the app)
- Sunday, September 6th following worship - All-Church Picnic @ Kezar Lake (A-J bring sides, K-Z bring desserts, everyone's free to do both including banana pudding, just kidding, sort of)
- Sunday, September 13th @ 9:00AM - Sunday School starts for all ages, Small Groups begin that week
If you are interested in being baptized on Sunday morning, September 6th, please let me know and we will schedule a time to discuss.
Lastly, the following Children's Ministry needs are still a need:
- Sunday School Hour (9:00AM)- 1 helper (preschool class)
- Church Hour (during the message) -
- 2 Kingdom Kids teachers (Kg- grade 2),
- 3 Pre-K teachers and 2 helpers (for 4's and young 5s),
- 2 adult helpers for nursery
- After Worship -11 Trailblazer coaches and a few people to help give out prizes.
