Our Story & Our Values

How it all started...

In 1977, a small group of believers had a desire to see a church that taught the Bible in a clear, practical, God-glorifying way in the Kearsarge area of New Hampshire. The decision was made to plant what was originally called Trinity Gospel Chapel that then began meeting at the Newbury VFW hall.

In 1985 ground was broken on the church's current building at 539 Route 114 in South Sutton and the name was changed to Trinity Bible Church.

Where we're headed...

Over nearly 50 years Trinity Bible Church has served as an outpost for the proclamation of the good news of the Lord Jesus Christ. From this little corner of God's creation, we dream of helping people of all ages grow in their faith as well as providing the kind of training others that will lead to the Kingdom expanding throughout New Hampshire, New England, and wherever else the Lord might lead.

Our values

When we think of how best to serve the people of our church and community, we are guided by a set of values that we believe reflect the unique challenges and benefits of ministry in this part of the Granite State.  As a result, we work to intentionally value:

  1. The Person & Work of Jesus Christ
  2. Biblical & Theological Fidelity
  3. Compassionate & Thorough Care
  4. Global & Local Missions
  5. Engaging & Intergenerational Ministry
  6. Effective & Practical Faith
